Google News has an easy way to find news articles published elsewhere in the world. You have to know where to find this though! Here's the process:
• Go to news.google.com
• In the search box, there is a small arrow on the right. Click on this to open up the Advanced Search options
• Use the top boxes to type one or more search words - ie type the name of the country you want news ABOUT
• In Date Added to Google News, click the arrow to open a drop-down menu. Make a selection, ie past month
• In the location box, type where you want news FROM
For example, type Syria rebels in the "all these words" box and UK in the "location" box to get news about Syria that is published in the UK.
