Books in the biological sciences are mostly located in the Dewey 500's area of the library. There are a lot of books - look in the online catalog to find books in your specific area of interest.

Global Issues in Context (Gale)
News, video, audio and reference articles providing perspectives on international news & events.
A broad collection of scholarly journals. This is not a current issues index; most articles are at least three years old.
Access to current and past issues of Nature magazine, with downloadable page images in PDF format.
Full text database that provides access to a broad range of scientific publications. Most of these resources are available through our subscription.
Science Reference Center (EBSCO)
Contains full text for nearly 640 science encyclopedias, reference books, periodicals, etc. Topics covered include: biology, chemistry, earth & space science, environmental science, health & medicine, history of science, life science, physics, science & society, science as inquiry, scientists, technology and wildlife.

If you need an article from a recent issue of Science, see Mrs. Rettberg. Back issues of Science are in the periodical area of the library - be sure to check them out at the library desk. Issues of these journals that are more than three years old can be found in JSTOR.
