Chicago Style Guide

Film or video

Citation of films follows the style used for books, with the addition of medium type. A portion of a video is cited as a chapter of a book, using chapter numbers that are provided if the medium is DVD.. Supplementary material that is included on a DVD is cited as a chapter.

Note

Director Firstname Lastname, Film Title (Original publication date; Publication City: Publisher, Publication date), Medium.
